“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all.
Emily Dickinson highlights the feeling of hope and the truth of the human spirit. Hope doesn’t sprout from the external, it comes from the soul and spreads into the tangible forms of life. Each of the five artists expresses their inner voice through the medium of painting. They draw from within to sing in the voice of encouragement for themselves and others. Although this show marks the first time these artists will meet in an exhibition, their perspective has united them, just as birds unite through their sweet gale.
